History
May 2 and 3, 1981 (27 years ago) - Country extraveganza, Orange Blossom Jamboree #2, "Spring Fever", is held north of Lakeland, FL.
May 5, 1951 - Drummer Rodney Price is born. Rodney worked with the Bellamy Bros. and Ricky Skaggs during the late 70's and early 80's. He is currently drummer with the Rogues.
May 18, 1944 - Old comrade and songwriter, Herb McCullough is born.
May 21, 1981 (27 years ago) - Southern Honey started rehearsals at Joni Canova's parent's guest house on Lake Ariana in Auburndale.
May 29, 1982 (26 years ago) - Joe Spann's first job (ever) playing lead guitar was with the group "Southern Honey" at the Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival in Zellwood, Florida.
