DATE: Jan 31, 2007 Sorry to hear about all the spam and junk HOWEVER…. 1.) I’m a musician/drummer ( born in 1952 ) familiar with many of the bands listed on your site from the various eras. I really dug the pictures ( sentimental journey ) I knew Pappy Rodgers, The Flying Robins, Dave McMillian the Tiger Guy, Bill Raventos was my technical director for audio / lights along with Bob Ramsey. Most all of the clowns shown on your site I knew. Wild Bill Hamilton “Da Boss Clown” used to just crack me up with his opening routine for the Circus Spectacular show. ( I’d be up in the audio booth listening to him bust on the crowd. ) So just wanted to let you know. |
DATE: Dec 26, 2006 Carl, I guess I was feeling a little nostalgic today, the day after Christmas, remembering that party we played at the Winter Haven Citrus Dome (I think that's what it was called), and I hit the Rogues' sound byte and watched Willie sing. Thanks for putting that in there, sure brought back some fine memories for me. Gary |
