Air Check

 

One night, while on the air, I accidentally spilled water on one of the turntables. It soaked it enough that it would only work at 78 rpm. I left a note for the engineer about it when my shift was over. The next day I came to work, there was a note from the engineer, "Patti, please do not water the turntables...they will not grow any louder!"
