CHAPTER EVENTS
3rd Saturday WORKSHOP (December 19)
Our NEXT WORKSHOP is scheduled for 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2009 at the Winter Haven Airport Terminal . There is no charge to attend and you don't have to be a member. These workshops are open to all songwriters and for those interested in becoming songwriters. Lisa Palas (our Adopt-a-Shop Pro) and/or Carl Chambers will be there when circumstances permit. They are a real asset to our workshops. Bring a song with 10 copies of your lyrics for critiques. Songs may be on CD, cassette or may be performed "live" (bring your own instrument if needed). We will also discuss songwriting tips and other important info that we receive from the Nashville office at each workshop as well as discuss our upcoming events.
Please note that the Lakeland/Winter Haven Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) now meets TWICE monthly.
The first is on the 1st Thursday evening of each month, from 6:30 pm till 8:30 pm at Richards Fine Coffee's located in the Winter Haven Public Library - 330 Avenue A NW, Winter Haven, FL - this is downtown, on the park.
The second is on the 3rd Saturday afternoon of each month, from 1 pm till 4 pm, at Richards Fine Coffee's second location, situated at the Winter Haven Municipal Airport Terminal - 2073 Hwy 92 West, Winter Haven, FL - this is just East of Auburndale, on Highway 92.
You can look on the Richard' Fine Coffees website for what they have to offer on the menu besides coffee.
